Thank You Race Participants!
I must first begin with a HUGE TEXAS size THANK YOU, to each of you for your support and participation of this Inaugural Event. It was an absolute honor to host each of you as you took on the 13.1 mile challenge or in our case the 13.5
miles. It was also a pleasure shaking your hands after you crossed the finish line, as well as meeting your family and friends. Special thanks to our event sponsors, area training clubs and volunteers for their much appreciated support during packet pick-up and on race day.

AHC 2009 - It'll be here before you know it!
Get READY for Angie?s Half Crazy! Half Marathon 2009! The event date, time and theme have already been set for next year, with final details being announced soon. Next year's theme will be "Bringing the Aloha State to Texas!" I can promise you, that the finisher's medal and gear will be stellar and plentiful. I have decided to cap the race at a
CRAZY 1,234 participant level for the 2009 date - Wahoo! This event will continue to follow the same registration fee plan, have gifts for the first 100 registrants and have secure online registration for this event. I look forward to hosting each of you at next year's event - Wahoo!
Best Themed Aid Station
Also have to recognize the best themed aid station. It was an easy decision to make in announcing that USA Fit Bay Area is the winner ? Wahoo! This energetic group hosted the mile 3 and mile 11 aid stations. Many race participants complimented all of the on the course volunteers, however the cheers and friendly faces at aid station 11 really helped towards the end. Thank you USA Fit Bay Area members for your cheers and support, Way to ROCK!
2009's Course: 13.1? Yes!
The answer is YES! The course will be certified to 13.1
miles next year. I am very apologetic about the extra distance. We had an error at the mile 1 mark which was placed on the wrong side. Mile 1 is actually on Middlebrook but closer to Park Shadows. Once the course has been certified, the certification number will be posted on the website
(and we'll measure it multiple times!). Again, please accept my apologies for the extension.
Prizes! We've got
your Prizes!
Raffle Awards have been drawn and the winners
are now announced. Each of the winners listed below will receive a gift card
(will be mailed) and a separate email to inform them of their win.
Congratulations to our randomly chosen raffle winners ? Wahoo!
